From an "Anonymous" Shampoo and Three Wet Noses to 27 Years of Discovery: Meet REVCARE

Hi there! I’m Rebecca, and if you had told me 27 years ago that today you’d be reading this on my very own blog, I probably would have looked at you with the same confusion I had back then while staring at the back of a shampoo bottle... for my dogs.

The Moment Everything Changed (and three four-legged friends are to blame)

It all started with a simple question and a great deal of love for my three loyal companions. I used to buy expensive shampoos to take care of them, but one day I turned the bottle around and... chaos. No ingredients list! I asked myself: "What exactly am I washing them with?"

Back then, the internet wasn't what it is today (yes, I’m one of the "old school" ones). There were no YouTube tutorials or natural cosmetic seminars in Greece. But there were stacks of books. I bought every book available on natural ingredients and their properties. I felt like an alchemist in my own lab, trying to find the right proportions at a time when you couldn't even find a third of the raw materials in our country.

The "Battle of the Pot" and the 10-Year Miracle

Don’t imagine for a second that my first attempt was a success. I threw away countless batches. My kitchen smelled of herbs and my patience was constantly tested until... I finally did it! My first shampoo was exceptional.

I gave it to friends, and the results left me speechless. Pets that had been scratching for years finally found relief. But my "medal of honor" was a dog that had suffered from skin issues for 10 whole years and had lost its fur in many spots. After some time using my product, its coat grew back completely! That’s when I said: "Rebecca, you’re onto something here."

From Pet Care... to Our Own Skin

The thought came naturally: "If I can do this for them, why not for myself?" And just like that, a new world opened up before me. A world full of textures, scents, and active ingredients that make your skin "smile."

For 27 years, my "customers" were my family and friends. I was the Rebecca who always had a cream or an oil for every need. But my passion for perfection—you know, the kind that makes me talk and research for hours with chemists to reach the best possible result—wouldn't let me rest.

Why REVCARE?

I decided it was time to spread my wings! That’s how REVCARE was born. The name couldn't be anything else: Rebecca + Care.

It’s my name and the word "care" in one. Because for me, skincare isn't a luxury; it’s the care we owe to ourselves. On this blog, I’m not just going to sell you creams. I’ll be sharing everything I’ve learned over these 27 years, the truths behind the ingredients, and perhaps a few more stories from my "lab."
